I enjoyed Marty's interview - it was very entertaining and enlightening. I look forward to his next book.

another great show! nice to see you guys get tips/feedback from marty.

i do understand marty's comment that the podcast medium is not good for explaining wiring or any how to's but you guys complement it with diagrams, show notes and video clips on the website.
I, and am sure most of your listeners too, catch this show passively, like while commuting or doing other things. i then check your site for follow-up. so, talking about wiring is ok as long as i can read/see more about it on the site. model railroading is less theory and more about how is it done. so i hope you continue talking about the how-tos. anyone from the publishing world, prefers us to get tips from books rather than the internet medium. i am not being mean here, just trying to say that books AND internet/podcasts complement each other.

i did like marty's model railroad tip ie, "have fun"
I see too many people in this hobby get hung up on being PC (Prototypical - Correctness)
if they see someone run a UP big-boy steamer in a european setting, eyebrows get raised. (its true! i have seen it on youtube) its all about what make you happy, unless you are doing a layout for a magazine/book/historical society.

anyway, loved this show. hope you guys throw in some interviews from time-to-time.
take care,
don

Another cool show...

ISR (or someone else), here's a suggestion for a prototype loco piece - the British A3 and A4! I've always been interested in them, especially as one of them holds the Steam High Speed record.

The interview with Marty was very interesting. Pity the audio quality wasn't there for the interview, but it was still a pleasure to listen to.

Keep up the good work.
