bobcatts2bits.blogspot.com/Great topic! Always fun to hear Bernie's input and any updates about his USMRR.
White's books are invaluable reference for early car construction; well worth getting hold of. Also, "Railway Car Construction" by William Voss is a good one to have on hand. Reprints are available through the Orange Empire Railroad Museum http://www.oerm.org/pages/books.htm The Back Shop makes cast brass, drop-in link & pin couplers for O scale applications: http://home.onemain.com/~thebackshop/link.htm |

www.nyhrr.comGreat Show guys!
It's really cool to see someone take the time to do early period stuff well. Great job Tim and Bernie as always. |

Great show, this will help alot. It's cool that some people model the civil war even though it isn't tipical and popular to model. I'm glad you still got a show up!

Good show Guys!
It's fun to hear Bernie, He is so knowledgable about Civil War Era Railroading. I always enjoy Him discussing his layout and the era. Thanks to you both for a informative show. Have a great Week, Rick D. |

I really enjoyed this show, although I wouldn't use the "Him" for Bernie (as the previous poster did) - he may be God-like to some, but... LOL!
Nice job on both Tim's part & Bernie's plethora of knowledge... I am glad to also hear that the intor show's Tim as Ryan's "right hand man"/co-host. He's doin' a great job and it's drastically taken the show & "kicked it up a notch". One more thing I liked was how the comments segment was short, sweet, and to the point... I think it should be moved to the end of the show, but that's just me. Keep the improvments and quality goin' guys! |

www.alkemscalemodels.comAgree that Tim is a natural at interviews.
Norm - aaw come on, can't I at least keep demi-god (not demagogue) status? BTW I posted some additional info and pics of the Adams Express Company in the forum on show 88 discussion. |

Great show, I'm modeling a lesser-modeled period as well. Does anybody know what sorts of hopper cars would be appropriate for the mid 1920s?
