Support the Show
Support the Model Rail Cast Show by downloading one of the posters (flyers), printing a few out and take them to
your local hobby shops, then ask for premission to display them.
Enter the Contest
Next, take a good picture of the posted flyer, then upload it to your MRC PhotoGallery.
Finally create a new photo set called posters, then add this photo to this new photo set,
then add the posters photo set to the public category of Poster Contest.
Random winners will be selected throughout the year and will receive promotional prises.

Steps to upload your photo for entry into our Support Poster Contest:
- You will need a digital camera or a cell phone with a camera.
- Download one of the posters above (you will need
Adobe Arcobat
to display and print it out).
- Take printed posters to your local hobby shops.
- Ask permission to display the poster. (you may want to bring 50 or more to each shop, so people can take them home)
- After posting the poster, take a photo of it at the hobby shop. Make sure we can tell it is posted at the hooby shop.
- Download your digital photo to your computer.
- Go to the Model Rail Cast site
- Create a MRC user account, if you do not already have one.
- From the MRC home page, click the UserName's Photo Mgr link (this link is only displayed after you have logged in and shows up just under the PhotoGallery link)
- In the Photo Manager click the My Photo Sets tab, and create a new photo set named Posters.
- Next, click the Upload tab, then click the Browse button for Photo1, and find and select the poster photo from the hobby shop.
- Optionally, enter a short description of the photo, like what day you took the picture and the name of the hobby shop.
- Towards the bottom of the web page, select the Posters photo set you just created from the Assign Uploads to Photo Set dropdown list.
- Now, click the Update Now button to start uploading your photo.
- After the upload completes, you will be take to the My Photos tab, from here...
- Click on the Public Categories tab and in the public categories list on the left, click (select) on the Poster Contest category.
- Now, from the list labeled My Sets select the photo set Posters, then click Add
- Your poster photo will now be display in our photo gallery under Poster Contest
Also add to the picture comments, the city, state and name of the hobby shop.
